Link Crew
Link Crew is a program designed specifically to support incoming freshman as they start their 4-year journey through high school. We select upperclassmen (juniors and seniors) leaders to guide them through their first year, and leaders engage our freshmen in activities that help to immerse them into the culture, the academics, and the extra curricular activities at Northgate. Our goal is to make sure each freshman feels connected to other students on their first day of school, and that they can continue to make new connections to peers and to Northgate throughout their first year of high school. Connecting the freshman with leaders and with the school starts at freshman orientation and continues throughout the year in our strategic support class period, where freshmen students will have Link leaders with them year-round for social and academic support, fun activities, and academic mentoring in courses when needed.
